Cooper, I'll take them.  I live out in Winchester, but got o Manassas on a regular bases.  What part of the "greater" Washington we talking about.  FYI they would reside at an educational research farm.

I have 8 tilapia that I'm trying to get rid of. They are between 5 and 9 inches. Anyone in the greater DC area interested?

I live in a basement apartment and it's unfortunately not the appropriate setting for my setup. I plan on keeping all of my equipment until I find a more appropriate living situation to set it up.

SOLD my system to a nice guy in Gainesville who is getting into Aquaponics with his family! Thanks!

Cool David I'll re-post what you wrote here.

Sure TC! I am moving for a wonderful reason and am looking to see if I can sell my system to someone locally-ish so that I can build a new system instead of moving it down to North Carolina. I love AP and am probably going to be doing some version of it for the rest of my life. I am moving to Durham, NC to help my brother open his restaurant and grow food for it. So I actually need to scale up and when I do, I will be contacting you for more equipment! The indexing valve and timer you sold me work great and I was very tankful for all your advice

Hay David, I'm sorry to hear you need to sell your system.  I do hope that the reason for the move is something absolutely wonderful though and I'm hoping that you get to continue growing lots of food for yourself in your new place.  Good Luck with moving, I'm doing it myself right now and it sucks, but I'm only going 17 miles so I am moving all my aquaponics as well.

Let me know if you would like me to to post your add on my web site as well.

Hi everybody! I'm new to AGC. I was into aquaculture 10 years ago (Tilapia, and Prawns), and have had a green thumb for some years now. I'm moving forward and starting my oven aquaponics system. YAY!  Anyway, I'm located in the Riverview area of Florida, and I;m curently looking for some used IBCs for my system. Please, contact me if you have any IBCs for sale. I'm also looking for some plastic drums to use for my growing beds.

oops miss understood.  Not in the cards, although sounds wonderful.  I am looking to start a geodesic aquaponic greenhouse here in Northern Ontario.

That was more to the room, however West Virginia is not only wild, but wonderful.  The water pours out of the ground here.  I'd put it on the list next time corporate wants to transfer you.

How can I help you help me.  I can't move to West Virginia

You'd really wish I was in Ontario after I start unloading the totes I just found.  They go up next.
Still 6 left, need them gone so I can bring in the new ones.  Help me, help you.

Wish you were in Ontario

I'm looking to buy (in central FL please) an old utility trailer or two.  One of em just needs to be serviceable enough for me to get home with it though I'd like it to be fairly large.  I need to build a secure night time coop for my birds but it has to be mobile (gotta move the birds around the big property to give em natural food.)  The predators got to my birds here at the new farm and I've on one sad lonely chicken left.  Still got lots of ducks though.  Anyway, I can't get more chickens till I can make a secure night time coop and I don't want to ration eggs for too long.  Let me know if you are in Central FL and have an old 5x8 or bigger utility trailer to get rid of and how much you want for it.

FREE> FREE> FREE 275 IBC Totes.  These have mulch dye residue in them.  They are fun to clean, but free.  Also before you ask. msds says contents are 100% inert and safe, as they use this dye to color mulch we put on play grounds.  Disposal methods are to add water.

Contact me @ matthew.ferrell@mail.wvu.edu  I have at least 12 at the moment.  Donations are accepted to help the program, but otherwise they are free.

$600 - Complete Aquaponics set up. IBC 175 gallon tank. 2-50 gallon rubbermaid grow beds, all plumbing including 2 bell siphons, Quiet One-4000 submersible water pump, air pump with 4 hose attachments, water test kit, valves, fittings, etc...a lot of extras, even some fish food. This was my back yard Tilapia set up for the past year and a half. No time for it anymore due to work travel. Would like it to go to someone who's looking to get into this great hobby. Can help deliver within reason in Florida. I am near Gainesville. mcclellanrobert (at) mac (dot) com  or 386-454-4497.

I'm going to be moving out of the central coast here in California. My backyard set-up needs to go before the end of July. I have a 350 gallon IBC that already has a hole cut into the top and has three bulkheads placed on one side. I  Also have three 5"x5" fence posts that have 42 3.5" holes drilled into it for an NFT setup, one post has 16 holes, the next has 14 and the last has 12. I have the 3.5" netted pots that fit into the drilled holes and expandable clay pellets. The water pump moves 1300 gph, has an automatic shut of if the sump goes dry, and small UV filter. I would sell the IBC for $85, the fence posts for $100, pump for $70 and the net pots and clay pellets for $30. If you want all of it, then $250 even would be fine. Also have PVC pipe and fitting to plumb them together for free if you pick all of it up. Message me if you would like pictures or my exact location.
