Just finished my MBA/MFA and have applied to many organic farms but no one will really consider me because of qualifications and my lighter farming experience. If any aquaponic farms out there want to make more money doing what they love then please contact me. I just want a chance on a farm (anywhere USA).

Including assistance with maintaining your commercial aquaponics farm I'm also willing to make promotional videos, market your business on Google/Facebook advertising, social media, and book keeping.

Hello, I have 2 1/2 acres in the northern New Mexico high desert near Taos. My mother and I are starting a homestead, which includes a 32X32 aquaponics greenhouse. We are looking for help not just with the greenhouse but in all aspects of homestead life off grid. We are willing to offer free board and food (once the greenhouse starts to produce) to the right party, single or married. duties will include everything needed to run a homestead from gardening to help hauling water, building and fence maintenance when needed, feeding livestock (currently only encludes rabbits for meat but plan to get a small cow or yak). We are 100% off grid and only 16 miles to town. This would be a permanant position if each party is happy with the results.

Coastview Aquaponics is looking for volunteer help on our farm on Saturdays. We are a small family run commercial farm that sells produce directly to our neighborhood and located on the Kona coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. We need a little help keeping up with the day to day work which usually gets put off until Saturdays when we are all around.

We will compensate your time with food sharing  and aquaponics knowledge. Just being on our farm and helping you will have the opportunity to absorb a lot of information. I am always teaching how to do things we have learned over the years of running an aquaponic farm. You will need your own transportation and a willingness to get your hands dirty. I have hundreds of pictures of our farm posted on my page.

Hi All,

I'd like to advertise internship openings starting in September of this year (2012) at Bright Agrotech.  Internships are free and unpaid.  You will be responsible for room and board.  We recommend a part time job initially for this reason.  In return we give you training in our commercial vertical AP production facility in all areas from basic production and system management to to marketing and bookkeeping.  Interns will be expected to work well with other interns on individual and group projects corresponding with their interests.  I will personally work with interns on a weekly basis, teaching the biological, ecological and economic fundamentals of commercial AP.  We are selective, typically only accepting the top 5%-10% of applications and are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, hard-working, self-motivated, willing to learn and capable of delivering value to our company.  We approach internships as a training and vetting opportunity and may offer part-time or full-time paid employment to interns upon completion of the internship.  Our current and past employees have all served as interns prior to their employment with us.

If you are interested, please send your resume and a paragraph or two on your future goals and reasons for pursuing the internship to nate@brightagrotech.com.  Please title your email Re: Internship, and submit before July 27, 2012.  Qualifications are less important to us than potential.

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone has any job openings in the bay area. I have a basic knowledge of aquaponics, even have my own 20 gallon system and am currently working on my 300 gallon system but that is still a work in progress. What I lack in knowledge I do make up for in willingness to learn and think out side the box.

Thanks.

I have found 1 acre of property in SE michigan (ferndale) that is zoned comercial and am looking for folks who are interested in investing in a aquaponics business.  I have created a business plan that incorporates value added production, education, consulting and installations.  The finantial spreadsheet shows that the business will begin paying dividends between years 1.5 and 3 depending on how the consultation and installations do in the economy.  I already have 3 restaurants that purchase produce from my farming operations and all want to purchase the aquaponics produce as well. Lets not wait for the jobs/internships to come to us.  Let create them.
