Hi Christian,
This person can get you some fingerlings in Davie, Fl. Not sure what sizes he has but he should be able to sell you some.
Best wishes for your new aquaponic system.
Sam
Hello, my kids and I just started our first backyard aquaponics set up and now we're looking for some tilapia to put in the tank. If anyone has any affordable (fish+shipping) fingerlings, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
Looking for blue tilapia in Lubbock, Texas. Willing to barter/trade/pay. Do not need immediately, but before winter.
I can pay it forward with some kind of trade, need fingerlings for a new aquaponics setup in my back yard, an old hot tub and bathtub converted to grow fish and vegetables (raft). How does this work?

Looking for Blue Tilapia in the Central Florida area. Willing to pay.
Thanks,
Ed.
I just wanted to list a few things for trade for fish... Bags of Portland cement, used vertigro pots, 55 gal barrels, recycled wooden lattice work ( I have a full pallet), compost, shaker shingle (also recycled). Just thought I would see what I could get in fish. I have about 300 fish...just not breeding right yet...LOL

I am new to aquaponics and will need to attempt to raise fish, is anyone located in oklahoma have tilapia that may have a few to donate.
Sounds like a good plan Steve, Sunday night the temp went below freezing and my well pump froze and it was 9:30 am Monday before I had water to the house again. The FT water went to 51 degrees but the fish did fine, I wasn't worried since their water went to 48 last month. I forgot to give you some food, but they will eat just about anything even cherri-O's :>) I would wait till the middle of March to move them outside if you want to pamper them.
Hey Larry,
Thanks again for the fish. They all made the ride. Nobody kicked the bucket. I gave them a flower pot to hang out in. I made a couple of floating rafts for my plants and they love that cover too.
I have been manually cleaning out that tote (fish poop) until the weather gets warmer, before I can put them in their new home. I have been taking the some water out of that 30 gallon tote and replacing it with the water from my system outside. Slowly bring them into a higher PH environment. I got time so why not.
I ordered some duck weed and I am 90% done with my black soldier fly bucket. Gonna keep em organic.
Thanks again,
Steve...
