Hi,

 Neill in Waco.

I bought some hybrid Mozambique from Larry's Fish Farm in Giddings. Some are white, some grey, some multi colored. Anyone know what they might be?

Hello fellow Texans!

My name is Andy Cole. I am a 24 year old Senior at UTSA. My good friend and I have been able to organize an Aquaponics seminar to be given by Nelson & Pade Aquaponics (20 years of Aquaponics experience) in downtown San Antonio, TX next to the Riverwalk Saturday, 9am—11am March 30, 2013 at Comfort Suites Alamo/Riverwalk, 505 Live Oak Street, San Antonio, TX, US, 78202.

Please visit the Nelson Pade website to signup: http://store.aquaponics.com/index.php?route=product/category&pa...

Tickets are $39, which includes the book Aquaponic Food Production, by industry veteran, Rebecca L. Nelson.

We're hoping for a great turnout to this event to help spread the word about Aquaponics!! See you at the event!

What how to class are you talking about Rob Nash?

Comment by Rob Nash on February 6, 2013 at 6:51am

Leisa, the how to class is based on the 300 gallon system built from a rubber-maid tub and two 4x8 grow beds. any one can build one, we offer a step by step plan and parts list.. its sure to save you the $100 in time alone, not to mention one wrong purchase, such as a pump or bad plumbing.. all our training is designed to save you time and money by avoiding trial and error. in my opinion, its well worth the drive. .. similar classes can run as high as $250.

Can you explain what the AP 300 entails.  I was looking at your other site and I am considering sending my husband to the class.  We already have several systems, would be driving in from SA and I'm just wondering if it would be worth it for us.  What are your thoughts?  Leisa

@Leisa McPherson - I've seen your garden and I think you are blessed with the greenest thumbs of all.

I did the same thing.  I bought a bunch of water cress from the natural food co-op and planted it in my raft.  It's lasted for months and I'll admit I eat the leaves regularly, but I had hoped it would flourish and propagate on it's own.

I think it might be better to quickly grow and harvest with succession planting.   Trouble is it seems to take so long for the plant to grow out in the cold and in the warmth of my garden room they don't do well.

I have a large amt of watercress. I actually bought it in the produce section of Whole Foods with the roots on.
