Does anyone have any experience with CocoTek?

Yes George I have used it many times but only in dirt gardens. Ive mixed half and half coco coir and my own black compost. When I was starting this aquaponics adventure I learned alot from Growing Power in Wisconsin and they use it alot with worm castings. Its great stuff because you put a brick in water and watch it grow 5 times its original size.

I have used Coir with hydroponics. I liked it because it does not deplete the last remaining deposits of peat.

It also contains beneficial fungus which can help control pathogenic fungi.
