Does anyone have trout fingerlings or trout eggs that they would ship?

Comment by Joe Romanyschyn on April 11, 2012 at 10:23am

This is an excellent opportunity for someone that wants to raise or get started in aquaponics. I purchased these Blue Tilapia from White Brook one of the most popular Tilapia farms in the USA.  There are approximately 30 plus Tilapia ranging in size from 6 to 3 inches many over 5 inches When purchased they were mixed sex 50 / 50. I am not an expert so I cannot tell you the exact of males of females. There are several large Tilapia that are probably near breeding size.  I have these fish in a 175G tank in my basement and ave been successful in utilizing them in an aquaponics environment growing lettuce and green beans. Why buy fingerlings when you can purchase hardy growing Tilapia.
Due to personnel reason I must sell my stock at a very reasonable price. I will assist in removing the fish, however, the buyer must bring the appropriate containers to transport the fish. Please note that this is a "local pick up only". Please do not ask me to ship as I cannot. I live in Greenville NY, 12771. I am asking $200 or best offer. You can contact me at romanwhat@gmail.com if interested. I am working on posting pictures.  Thanks Joe

I am in th procss of trying to move my aquaponic operation to St Louis into a warehouse so I am trying to sell my rural aquaponic facility. I would prefer to sell it complete with fish tanks, pumps, greenhouse and even business plan and name if someone is interested. Otherwise I would consider selling off the tanks, 7-1,800 tanks, 3 air pumps with hundreds of air stones and misc parts and supplies. Review the website and let me know what you think, thanks. www.floating-farms.com

It's been so hard to find anyone who sells any species of tilapia fingerlings in South Florida. So it got me thinking, I have a couple of acres down here that I'm not doing anything with. Maybe I'll start breeding tilapia and selling fingerlings to our local growers and enthusiasts. Of course they would be available for anyone to buy, but the main purpose of me starting this facility is to provide for the locals. Would anyone be interested in purchasing? Just trying to get an idea, to see if the venture is worth the time and investment. All feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks to all.

Thanks I appreciate it. I wonder how expensive shipping is from Central FL to South FL. And yes, if you don't mind, let me know who I can call. Thanks again.

Hello, I'm looking for Tilapia Fingerlings in the South Florida Area. Shipping prices are way too high to my area and prefer to go pick them up myself. If anyone is selling or knows where I can get some fingerlings in my area, please let me know. Thanks
