Lets say you live somewhere that does not have a subtropical climate suitable for tilapia and haven't the inclination or money it takes to build a climate controlled system to house them. There is comparatively little info available on temperate climate fish for aquaponics. Much of it is musings and hypothetical, better than nothing but it leaves the topic pretty murky. This is what I have so far-
type: CHOP
Tanks: Stock tank=100gal Rubbermaid stock tank, sump=100gal Rubbermaid stock tank,
Growbeds: 4'x3'x1' 60g Aquaponics Sorce growbed w/ bell siphon, media=3/4" gravel.
Plumbing: Rio Pro+ 1100 pump (in sump)
Livestock: one lonely crayfish
