- I love to garden but tend to kill most things I put in the soil. Hydroponics & Aquaponics seemed like the perfect thing to try. I wanted to do it as inexpensively as possible, so I went the route of Aquaponics (due to the price of nutrients.) After the first year, I added on to the system and it continues to grow. It is a very addicting hobby with benefits.

A learning experience

So, I did this gardening last year and thoroughly loved it....I realize now that I had some awesome luck on my side. I wasn't educated at all....hadn't found this site or was afraid to post because of my lack of knowledge and "good luck" was with me anyway. This year, luck has played a role again.....then I decided to expand. Boy do I have a lot to learn. Learning, however, has never been so fun.
