Please tell us something else about yourself.
I am a professional ecological aquaculture consultant and author.
We need to move aquaponics forward by introducing a better quality of live food for the fish with the additional plant bio-filters as further revenue streams as well as growing beds acting as aquatic organism habitats supporting the all important aquatic food chains that are missing from the aquaponics equation. These serve the fish's health and welfare and improve product quality. This closed looped system has to be seen to be, as well as demonstrate it's sustainable credentials. Intensive aquaculture systems fails on these counts, aquaponics should show the way it has that opportunity.
