Hi Bart
Thank's a lot for your reply. I guess it is a 7 hour drive from Hawkesbury to London.
I found a contact in Ottawa (Moe) and will start close to home. But we keep you in mind for the next time we drive to Toronto.
Cheers

Thank you for such a warm welcome and glad to know you here. Just let me know if there is anything I can help with.
Cheers
Hey Bart,
Thanks for the timely comments! Grow media was exactly my concern. I was in a Lowes last night and noticed the lava rock. You mentioned Brentwood ... does brand matter? Were you able to get the size media you were looking for or did you have to break them down to use in your system?
I've looked at some online hydroponic stores and Hydroton is expensive in Ontario. Cost would be a huge factor in a commercial system.
I noticed on the Canadian Hydroponic group that there was a guy up your way (London area) looking to import some expanded shale last fall. Do you know who this is?
Thanks again,
Brian
Hello Bart,
Thanks for the greetings! Us Ontarians seem few and far between. I'm just starting out, so may be asking advice on where to obtain supplies. This seems to be one of the challenges in this area.
It sounds like there at least a couple people looking into aquaponics up your way. I'm looking for someone down in the Niagara area. Please let me know if you hear of anyone.
Cheers,
Brian
