I'm setting up a Deep Water Culture Aquaponic System in the San Jose area of Costa Rica. Are you still doing aquaponics? Mine will be much bigger than your picure. I still need to purchase items for Aquaponics. Three major ones yet are a Regenerative Air Blower to force air into our system (and good air diffuser tubing), bio media like K3 for a moving bio tank (MBBR), and foam rafts (like the Beaver rafts or self made from DowCorning closed cell blue foam rafts). Any ideas? Thanks.
Thank you for the invitation my wife and I would like to see your system sometime we are In La Garita every weekend so maybe one weekend we could come by to visit. Let me know when it would ok with you. Thanks Mark, Also what kind of fish are you using in your system?
Hola! My wifes family lives in La Garita right down the road from you. I was wondering what type of fish did you use in your system? And how is your system working. I have only spoke with one other person here in Costa Rica that even knows what Aquaponics is thats Farmer Brown. Hope to hear from you Thanks Mark

I have used seaweed extract. It's good for iron and other trace minerals.
The only drawback to any iron supplement is they will discolor your water, but that clears up after awhile.
Welcome
This is a great group. You can learn, teach, and have FUN.
