Aquaponic Gardening

A Community and Forum For Aquaponic Gardeners

It's been a while since I've posted anything here. Life's been very busy with our dairy cows, garden, fruit trees, chickens, etc. And...planning for Bob's retirement this year! That said, we're still active AP gardeners and are loving it, even after, what, 4? years? I can't even remember when we started, but it's become a normal part of our life. I've missed my virtual friends, and am looking forward to jumping back into discussions!

I wanted to let everyone know about my Introduction to Aquaponics Class that is running this Saturday. What better way to spend time with those out-of-town relatives than to learn together about the natural bounty that can be in our own backyards? LOL!

In this class you'll learn the benefits of aquaponic gardening, how different types of aquaponic gardening systems work, what types of fish and plants are produced in aquaponic gardens, and how to create and manage a successful aquaponic garden in Arizona. We pack a lot of information in, and cover all the essentials.

This class is being offered by the Valley Permaculture Alliance. To learn more about the Valley Permaculture Alliance, go to: http://vpaaz.wildapricot.org/

I went to one of Sheri's presentations before I built my AP system.

She does an excellent job and is very personable.

I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of starting an aquaponic system.

Thank you, John!
