In a Greenhouse, do I still need to heat the water for the fish?

I live in Canada, Southern Ontario and yes it is very cold this year around minus 20 C as a constant.

I have a greenhouse that sits at 60 F or as cold as 43 F at night, when wind chill gets up and going.

I am new to this and about to build a small system with a 10 gallon tank and a small bed, using goldfish will I need to heat the tank ? if so to what temp?

Day time temps are around 80 when the sun is out and the fan running, it will be a flood and drain system and vermiculite or pebble for the media bed.

This is roughly the system I am thinking of using, as well as a filter system of some kind if anyone has a suggestion.

Did the T work?

looking up a bell-less siphon now

Yeah that is correct. For that size growbed you should only have a 1/2 inch stand pipe. You could just use reducers on either side of the bulkhead. And yes the T siphon is very simple and works great.

Here is my Problem its my bulkhead attachment....it is too big on the bottom inside.

So what I need is a close up picture of one too fix mine, as well i am using 3/4 pipe and that is my second problem here not enough pressure or water flow to activate it.

Does anyone have a close up pic of how they connected the stem?

It will work - most people do use the bell siphon. I didn't want to use it because it requires a large media guard which in a small grow bed takes up a lot of space. That is why I developed the EZ-T Siphon. Either way you will need to reduce from 3/4 to 1/2 just above the bulkhead to reduce the volume of water that can flow through the stand pipe.
