Just starting out. Have 110 gal. Fish tank 18-20 sqft. Grow bed with bell siphon draining back tank. Do I need a sump for this small starter, and how much do I need to cycle my fish tank? My system has two stndard mixing tubs ala Home Depot as grow beds both have bell syphon drain into the same 110 gallon fish tank not stocked yet. The tank is directly below beds. The pump has no timer and constantly cycles and drains . Any suggestions

No you don't need a sump. a sump is helpful to help maintain the water level in the FT. As long as your grow beds don't draw down your FT to much, you should be all set. I was always told to cycle all my FT water at least once every hour.
