so ive had my 3 goldfish in their 30 gal. ap.tank now for 5 days.today I decided to add 1 tsp.of the seaweed granules from the cycle kit I got from this site.the water turned allot darker than I thought it would.then I replaced 10gal.of water.its still dark.

now im worried about my 3 goldfish.i watched on youtube,the vid said it wont harm the fish

please help,will my fish be harmed by the seaweed  granules?

Your fish will be fine, I like to get my water a little coloured with seaweed and humic acid to reduce the light penetration in the water which can also help to reduce algal blooms. Seaweed is natural and supplies a good spectrum of trace elements and should not be feared in small quantities. If you are worried, test the water and see exactly what is circulating before panicking.
