I have a 30 gal. Fish tank.i have 3med. Size goldfish.they have been in the tank for 2 years now. I added 2 50 lt. Growbeds above.i saved the water in 5 gal. Pails.i did not make any changes to the tank.when the system was all setup I put that same water back into the tank.i saved the old spong filter and put it in the tank.i then planted some plants.i let the system run for a couple days.then I put the 3 goldfish in the tank.its been 4 days. The fish seem well.I think I should be in good shape because the tank and the water and everything that has been in the tank for 2 years should should be cycled.
Please give me some feedback.

You don't need to cycle but you should probably get an API freshwater test kit to to track what is going on with your system. Tracking your nitrates and PH will be important to finding a balance between the needs of your fish and plants.

thanks for responding and yes I will order the test kit
