Hi,

About a month ago my first match of fry hatched.  I pulled 2/3 out into a nursery tank and left the ones that had made to the sump alone.  Now as the are getting bigger, some of them have been sucked through the pump and ended up in the grow beds.  I've remove what I can but what is left of some of them is pretty chewed up.  Is this going to cause problems in my grow beds if I can't get all of the remains out?

Most of the fry that have gone through the pump were 1/2" although the latest one was 1"

I have a unique set up with a bridge siphon between the tank and the sump, my pump in the sump and then the grow beds being fed out our the sump

Thanks!

Shouldn't be a problem so long as you can tolerate the odor, if any, and have plenty of O2.  They'll decompose, like other organic matter.  Composting worms will take care of it, if you have them.  Otherwise, it will take longer.

Worms'll take care of it for you. Just watch out for a little potential ammonia to show up in your system.

Nice lookin' setup :) What are you using for growlights?

Thanks

On the left is a basic T5 cool for my lettuce and the big one on the right is an AgroLED T5/LED combo.  I've been very pleased with it, and so has my kale
