I have a clawson ibc that needs a cap but it is 9 inches. Does anyone know where I can find one in the USA? Does a ibc liner have information on it as to who made it and where is this located? How do I find out if a Mauser liner cap will fit?

There's a 9 in cap listed here: http://www.thecarycompany.com/containers/ibc/tote.html but it says it is for a schutz tote. Part# 26W9SP - 9" Solid Black Top Fill Screw Cap for Schutz Tote
I forward lots of aquaphonics in and vidoes to africa,. , i think i am wasting my time, unless the united nations open shops or services there,.,.
cheers
Samson's link is a bit more reasonable but no 9" caps. I have seen a lot of IBCs but never one with this elusive 9" cap. Lots more discussion on IBCs at the IBC group HERE
They do not. I checked. However I did not call them and perhaps the website is out of date. Personally I would stick with the normal, found everywhere, IBCs. I would use this one for a sump or a fish tank where you don't need a tight cap. I have paid less for a complete IBC than they want for these caps.
thanks jim but I live in the sunny southeast and shipping would be prohibitive for me. I haven't found ibcs
locally

Thanks everyone I contacted basco and a young lady there is going to email me when she finds out if mauser cap will fit maybe tomorrow
IMHO then you are not looking in the right places. IBCs are everywhere. Haunt the local Craigs list and the industrial parks, bakeries, commercial soap distributors, etc. I used to think there were none around here but boy was I wrong. They are everywhere and all over the globe. Also watch in farmers back yards. We live in a tiny town tn the mountains and they are in back yards everywhere. Stop and ask where they are getting them. Any oil recyclers will have a good source of them as well because they loan them out to oil change garages of all types. Have fun looking, seriously. I have fun looking and asking around and meeting people and talking AP with them. It is part of the AP experience. Don't forget flea markets.
