I live in a small community in Oklahoma.........hell who am i kidding its not the middle of nowhere but you can see if from here. there are a lot of cattle and horses and that means there are a ton of flies. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way i could catch the little bastards and feed them to my fish with out using chemicals that would hurt my system...with the amount of flies in our area i figure i could feed about a million fish for at least 5 months out of the year...not sure of nutritional value of flies and although the fda has an allowance for flies and fly feces in prepared food they do not have a nutritional value on them go figure. :)
thanks for any advice.

I have heard of people hanging a bug zapper over their fish tank. Do they work on flies? Just a thought.
I have a bug zapper on my front porch and all it accomplishes is making my electric bill go up.....flies just go by it laughing and flipping me off.
