I was wondering if you could tell me what's going on with these plants.  The first one is a peppermint that has turned yellow: Is it lack of iron or nitrates?

The second is a basil.  The leaves are getting this brown stuff on them.  Is that just normal leaves wilting and about to die?  Or is it fungus?  Or could it be the roots have some gunk on them?

The peppermint plant is now doing this: Is this Iron deficiency?

To me, it kinda looks that way but since I haven't experienced an iron deficiency firsthand, well... don't pay me too much heed.

HaHa...thanks Alex

Might be iron or magnesium deficient ... I have posted this is image on other treads. I found it a while back and find that is informative. Both of these minerals can be deployed via spraying the leaves with a diluted solution.

Nice graphic
