I had a system up and running using a 55 gal drum as a fish tank and 1/2 a drum for a media grow bed. Was using goldfish.

Decided to upgrade my system which is currently underway. Have 2 IBC totes For fish tanks and making 2 media based grow beds. Have yellow perch in the one tank and had an issue with the 2nd tank being used previously for phosphoric acid, if anyone has good cleaning tips for phosphoric acid would be greatly appreciated(also asked about this in another section of the forum)

Hi Lyle,

Water and lots of it........You can use a mild detergent for the first wash, but several water washes(3 to 4 times) pausing each time to air dry should be sufficient to remove approx. 99.5 % or more acid.
