Bird Pedation

My fish count is considerably less than my calculations would indicate. I'm suspecting perhaps birds may be a problem, though I haven't see any evidence. I have added bird netting over my pond. 

Have any of you experianced Bird predation?

ya ive found some spilled water and some feathers that definately werent pigeon feathers around my fish tank, and my fish count was off

I am not sure how you are counting your fish, but I found it a lot easier by taking several photos and counting the fish I see. Since these guys move so fast it usually takes 3 photos to get an accurate count.
