Aquaponics in Northern Michigan

Hey All,

Wow, its been a wild ride. But I just finished my first summer of growing an aquaponics system in Northern Michigan in a hoop house. I won the start up money and gave it a whirl. If you follow the link attached there is a short video demonstrating the layout and system design. I hope this post invigorates some thoughtful discussion...I will be running 1 grow bed in a greenhouse this winter to see its issues with the N. Michigan climate. I grew lettuce, and sold it at the Harbor Springs farmers market and to a couple of restaurants and one grocer. The response from the community was very positive.
