Anyone have a business plan template geared to Aquaponics?

Hi all,

Does anyone have a detailed business plan template geared towards a commercial aquaponics farm?

I am trying to write a business plan and can use all the help I can get.(I will be asking for any details of power used to heat water for tilapia fish in a seperate discussion)

thanks

There is a thread on this forum about that topic.

Here is the URL if it will go there (some links are broken sometimes so I've added the topic name below).

http://community.theaquaponicsource.com/forum/topics/commercial-aqu...

But the topic name is: "Commercial Aquaponics Business Plan".

Several business plans are discussed there.

Thanks Lee,

I'm now working my way through the thread you pointed me at.

cheers

Business Planning

Follow the business planning link above. It's actually geared towards aquaculture/recirculating aquaculture but can be easily tweaked to aquaponics.

Thanks,

I've read through a lot of it, it's all good stuff. I'll  no dubt go through it several times

Thanks again.

Josie:

Consider ground coupled heat (and cooling) for your system you may find a link for it in the commercial AP section.  There is a guy in Colorado using it quite effectively.

You're welcome.

Thanks Jim,

I'll will  be looking  into the various  "how to gain green heat" possibilities but I'm still stuggling the most at getting any figures for the amount of heat typically required for a set up in my cool northern England climate.

.

Cheers.
