duckweed optimum shade

does anyone have an idea of a shade cloth % shade that would work best for outdoor duckweed growth?

I try to keep the pond surface as stagnant/ undisturbed, however there is a continuous flow undercurrent of around five gallons per minute. There is a venturi jet in front of the inflow to provide aeration and yes it does cause a bit of disturbance thus a foam "umbrella" or flap is used to minimize this.
