Does anyone have a place where they can buy these in huge quantities? Best I can find on the net is 200 at a time, was thinking more like 5000 at a time?

Thanks,

There is a hydroponics store in south east Houston that usually carries these in quantities of 1k. They may be able to order them for you. I think my retail rate was 25 cents each but have not bought them in quite some time. They may give you a better price if you call them up and talk to them. Hydroshack.com. Hope this helps.

From what I have read, the 2" net pots on the site below fall through the holes that are made by a 2 inch hole bit thing, but the 2" slit pots work and have enough rim that they don't fall through. A case of 5418 is about $260.00 if I am reading that correctly.

Thanks for the heads up on the size issue and thanks for the links, found what I needed at hydro-gardens!

Yay!  Glad I could help!

use a 1 3/4" hole saw for best results Miranda.

Go to ebay and look up northstar net pots.

I bought 1000 2" pots from northstar-hydroponics and they were good.  I used a 1-7/8" hole saw for them and it was a nice tight fit.

I used a 2" saw and the hole is a little "loose".  I foud some other pots that have a square top that will keep the pots snug and at the right depth as the holes get bigger with age and use.  Where did you find the 1 7/8" hole saw.  I am in Nicaragua and hardware and tools are hard to come by.  They did not have that size at Home Depot or Lowe's??

I just picked it up at the local hardware store.  Sometimes the little guys are better than the big box stores!

@ Tim --  try harbor freight.com  they have lots of tools from China very inexpensive
