I have had lots of problems with tomatoes. I have had wilts that look like your picture and they were caused by viruses. In my area there are a number of viruses and plant diseases that attack tomatoes and many other crops. I have had to try many different varieties to find some disease resistant. It is important to plant seeds that specify disease resistance. Once you have found plants that do not get diseased it is extremely easy to propagate new plants from the healthy ones. Some growers use a disease resistant root stock and graft on heirloom tops.

I may not be disease though. What type of system are you growing in? I see some NTF in the background. Tomato roots get very large and will likely fill up NFT tubes in time. What is the variety of tomato? What do the roots of the wilted plants look like in comparison the the healthy? If the plants are in a raft system the roots need lots of oxygen.

for a 50 day old tomato plant the roots would be huge, If in an NFT it could be lack of water due to blocked pipes,

i had the same problem with my hydroponic tomatoes
