Wicking grow beds.

Thought I would add this here, this was my recent build,  I decided not to go with a floating raft but a wicking grow bed.    My variation is more like a gigantic earth box.
Realy conserves on water.

I didn't have to water for five weeks in my tomato bed last year and zero loss to splitting or blossom end rot. Definitively the way to go!

Ya we get like monthly rains here, and it is big when it comes.    I am very happy with this setup, with the next addition, I should not even need to water it anymore, unless we have months of drought.     I love the time I am saving not watering.
