Here is a link to the topic of efflorescence on concrete. You are correct, it is salt, but don't worry about it.
It appears that you have switched entirely to floating rafts. I'm interested in your reasons and your opinion of both types of grow beds.
I also would like any advise you can share or maybe a new video about how you plant your seeds. I have been having a lot of trouble with my seeds not sprouting and small plants dying after they sprout.
You are doing a great job and I love your videos!
