Loyd looking at your system a little closer you need to get the aluminum out of your system. Aluminum does corrode and it may cause toxicity problems. Use pvc and a cap like 2 in. Give the water room to go over the top of the stand pipe about a inch. It also looks like your water pipe runs horizontal to the pond and then dumps straight down. Try to give the horizontal part some fall by using a 90 or 2 90s and then go down like you are. I think your down legs are more than long enough. Your flow is awfully weak try those aforementioned tweeks and see if that helps.
