Homefire,

The water coming from my well is high ph. I have it down to about 6.8 now using ph down. I added maxicrop seaweed extract yesterday, guess I better check again to see if it changed my ph any.

Hi Steve,

I saw your water test vid.  Where do you suppose the high ph is coming from?

 

I'm cycling up now too.  Using worms, aerated compost tea, seaweed extract w/iron and urea.  My ph is 8.0, i suppose from the ammonia at +8 ppm.  I've got a little nitrite @ 0.25ppm i suppose its converting a little ammonia.  I won't add anymore nutriant till the ammonia comes down.
