Wow, your setup does not have that 1/4 inch hose to the top. Very cool setup.

Sorry for the delay in responding... Haven't been around forum much lately. I put together this demonstration just to see if I could get it to work consistently. From others' work I found on the internet things don't always work as planned with these siphons. I haven't gone beyond the demonstration phase and also find these siphons don't always work as planned. Still trying to figure out all the variables affecting these things but haven't really worked on it for some time. I will try and see if I can figure out how to make these things work all the time this winter and will post any new videos/findings as they develop. Thanks for all the comments!
