TY n I'm glade my info helped ,,,n Yes have to be very careful with the vapor barrier ,, but when u live off of $600 dollers a month its hard to be able to buy the good liner's ,,,,lol but it is working for me I just keep sharp things away,lol

Devin I wish you good luck with that vapor barrier.  I recently had a leak in my 45 mil EPDM grow bed which prompted me to build my new system.  But I'm loving the new raft system now!  Transplants are working out MUCH better with the raft.  I also like being able to move plants and I feel that I'm able to evaluate the health of the plants better now that I can see the roots.  Thanks for responding to my requests.  I think you nailed it when you said the seeds get sucked down into the gravel with the ebb and flow action of the water.

By the way I took your advise about air stone and gravel in the raft tanks and gave kudos to you.

Yes the fish tank is under the one end of my grow beds n one pump feeding all the beds,,,,,I built  a 210 Gallon tank ,out of plywood n vapor barrier ,,,

Devin are your fish under the grow beds? If not where are the fish?

Well I have about 40 gold fish n maybe babys,,,lol but the weigh about 20lbs all together,,, n my nitrate runs at around 50 to 100,,,,

How many pounds total would you guess your fish weigh?

What level does your Nitrate run at?
