A PH Q's can any one one tell me why my ph is not a colour on my chart??? But everything else is reading right,,, TY I did a water change after this video to...

I do use API,, n in fact I have hard ph read test n ph normole read test, my hard read is at 7.4 n the normole ph reads the same? that is what I don't under stand,,lol, But I'll do up another video n test today , But I'll put the test tube's by the chart so you can see what I'm talking about,, lol, I should of did that in this video, lol

P.S, what do u think of my little garden? The resone I ask is that I've only been doing this for 5 n half months, so you can say I'm a newbee,,,,lol

My aquaponic system PH is always around 8.0 so I use the High PH.  I have an aquarium that seems to stay around 7.2.  For that I use the PH test because the range is below the High PH solution's range.

API also make a Wide Range PH test solution sold under the brand name of PondCare.  It's not quite as accurate as the regular API test solutions, but it helped me figure out the PH range.  I agree the color chart is not quite what it should be.  After testing with all three I have determined that a PH of 8.0 looks a lot more like yellow than the bronze color they show.  Be sure to give it time as eventually the color does seem to improve.
