Thanks Bob,

Been keeping an eye on them for nearly 2 mos now, That video from 20+ days ago looks so old as everything has evolved so much since then. New vid soon.

Once in a blue moon one will flood a little higher but that one is cocked at a bad angle so the funnel is compromised and it really does no harm. Been meaning to get in there with the Dremel tool and cut that one level. It was an early one and I no longer glue them so I can make adjustments easily any time. Also I provide lots of air to the fish and the one float bed with a pond air pump. Cheap insurance and I can shut the system down any time without worrying about air as well as run that pump easily with a 12v bat and inverter during a power outage. Soon the whole system will run off 4 golf cart bats and a 1200 watt ups system that should carry pump and air for a good 6 or more hrs as the load is very small. I'll ck out your vid tonight. I am always learning

More frequent flood and drain will introduce more air, but it's not a critical amount of time.  It looks like your timing is good, but watch the fish to be sure they are getting enough oxygen.   You will have to run it at a speed that trips the bell siphon which may still surprise you one day.   I've had siphons like yours run for two weeks and then fail.  If you need to fix the siphon watch this.
