Please tell us something else about yourself.
I am very interested in Aquaponics and how it will address our food needs in the future. I am in the process of ordering and information on how to build a commercial system. I like what I read from Friendly. I have been building Koi ponds for about five years now and love the eco cycle of Fish / Bacteria / plants. I am looking forward to learning more and sharing what I learn with others. I am very interested in seeing that Aquaponics sets standards to show that they are better for people and the environment than "Organic".
My Associate and I are in process of preparing the land to build our first Aquaponic system but will grow it to a commercial system asap. We have contacts around the world and will spread what we learn with them to build sustainable systems that provide local food to people.

Bruce, given your interests I'd like to suggest that you join the Commercial Aquaponics group (see the Groups tab above), as well as the CoastView Aquaponics group (they use Friendly technology very successfully) and the Texas group. Also get to know the ladies at Green Acre Organics in here - they run a Friendly training program in Floriday; the only one on the mainland.
Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.
A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Home page. You might also find the “Aquaponic Gardening Rules of Thumb” guidelines helpful.
