Just started a new system. Will be adding fish soon. Going to try to grow tomatoes, green beans, lettuce, corn, peppers, collard, turnips, cucumbers, and who knows what else! Probably going with catfish.

Tonya 30 catfish in a 300 gallon tank isn't even close to being enough fish.  I time yes. But you will wait a long long long time before you see results. If they were 1 pound each you would be in the ballpark. Your grow bed is a bit limited and that controls somewhat the number of fish for your system.  Ron has 10 cats at 8 pound each in the same size tank with good results.  How do you think your 30 cats compare to this by weight?  If your not in a hurry for plant growth this number will eventually be enough.  Tom
