I should have the green house finished this weekend.. It is 12'x28' so there is plenty of room. I still need to get some tables built though. I am still working on the rocket mass heater that will heat the place. It could be a couple more weekends before I am done with it. The Aquaponics project will begin after the mass heater is working. Here are some links to my pictures. Hoop House
Thanks for the friend request, Thom. I am a high school science teacher and am relatively new to the world of aquaponics; my students have built a vertical aquaponics system with a 75 gallon aquarium at its core, and next week we will be "planting" tomatoes, lettuce, bell and hot peppers, spinach, kale, snow peas, and several herbs in our system. I'm not sure exactly what to expect, but the students (high school seniors) have been very engaged throughout the project.
Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.
A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Home page. You might also find the “Aquaponic Gardening Rules of Thumb” guidelines helpful.
