I am a missionary with YWAM Los Angeles and my main ministry is Aquaponics. My heart for Aquaponics is to use it to end starvation in developing countries starting in Africa, and hopefully the rest of the world. My vision is to see existing ministries in poverty stricken 3rd world nations replicate these aquaponics systems within their own cultures, bringing life, hope, and vision to broken and hopeless communities. Aquaponics has so much to offer and I am very excited to see where God can take this thing!

Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? James 2:15-16

I am the head of the farm here at our base in Los Angeles, and we build aquaponics systems to help end starvation and inspire hope and vision into the people of poverty stricken nations. Here is a blog post about the trip I just got back from. Please check it out.…

Hello fellow community aquaponic folk! I am new to the community, and this is my first ever blog!

I live in Los Angeles CA, on the outskirts of town by Sylmar. Now, this is a pretty wonderful place to have an aquaponics farm set up because it has fairly good weather year round. However, around this time last year, when my industrial sized aquaponic system was about to go into its first winter, the temperature suddenly dropped below 65 degrees at night and the water dropped with it. In…
