Organic probs: Bell pepper pests

Hello wonderful community,

There is something eating my bell peppers... I don't use pesticides, however I have used neem oil and chilli powder and soap before... any idea what is eating my peppers and how I treat this problem in an aquaponics friendly way?

I would think that much damage has to be an animal, is this system outdoors? Bird or Raccoon?

The damage would appear to be rather large for that to be a bug.... I would say something larger might be nosing around your system. Unless its been there a long time and you've gradually seen it grow bigger and bigger.
