Portable farms

Hi everyone, brand new to the community, been running an aqua farm since Feb 2010. Wondering if anyone here has any experience revamping a portable farms system? did some reading on the site and found a comment about a few others experiencing what I went through.

Comment by Alexander Horning on December 7, 2011 at 6:29pm: Sorry guys, I don't get on the computer enough, I will post some of my findings in the good bad and ugly group, I was trying not to throw mud, just wanting to find some others who have these units, I don't think I'm going to find many though. Murray, no harm in asking, there's almost too much to list here, but not much about the way it was designed is the same. lots of add on's and changes.

Comment by RupertofOZ on December 3, 2011 at 7:29am: Indeed, if you google around you'll find many people have had bad experiences with the "Portable Farm" systems... and frankly I wouldn't touch them.. even if I had the exorbitant amount of money required to buy one.. and was prepared to operate them without any level of ongoing support... or lack of any knowledgable support...

I found a link on the community showing some of the reviews about P.F. and was hoping to find some others here who have used the Portable Farm system. Short version is that we have had to change quite a few things with the units, not the least of which are the galvanized tanks that were installed for the fish. It has been such a long and expensive process so far I am really hoping to avoid anymore surprises with failures in the systems operation. Sorry for the confusion.
