Myth 1: Hydroponics - a new technology

Even in ancient Egypt's pharaohs enjoyed the taste of fruits and vegetables grown using hydroponics. One of the seven wonders of the world, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, in fact, was just a hydroponic garden. In India, the plants are grown directly in coconut fiber, plant roots are immersed in water. If hydroponics - a new technology, it is new for thousands of years. Hydroponics - not new - it's just different from other methods of cultivation

Myth 2: Hydroponics - this is something artificial and unnatural.

The growth of plants is natural and real. Plants require a simple, natural things for normal growth. Hydroponics provides all the needs of the plants in the right quantity at the right time. There are no genetic mutations in hydroponic plants, there is nothing unusual in the chemical composition of the nutrient solution, which serves the roots of plants, there is no mythical "steroids" described in many paper writing by using hydroponics. In the production of pure nutrient solutions it is now possible to grow a fully organic products using hydroponics. You will not find anything more natural in the world.

Myth 3: Hydroponics harm the environment.

This is absolutely wrong. Growing plants hydroponically much more frugally to land and water than traditional methods of gardening. We believe water is one of our most precious resources, and with the help of hydroponics we save 70 to 90 percent of water than conventional gardening. Another benefit is that no fertilizers do not fall into natural water bodies, as is the case with traditional cultivation.

Myth 4: Hydroponics - this is something from the field of space technology, is too complex and high-tech for the understanding of an ordinary person and it is difficult to learn.

As already mentioned, hydroponics - a cultivation without soil, and it does not require special devices and frills. Inexpensive bucket or flower pot filled with substrate and irrigation hydroponic solution - that's all hydroponics. The foam sheet with holes, which are inserted in pots, floats on the surface of the water in the bath with aerated solution - and this, too, hydroponics system is very popular for simple educational school projects. The technological potential of automation and complete control of the plant environment provides unlimited space for imagination, but in fact do not need to create a beautiful and unique hydroponic garden. No age restrictions anyone wanting to learn the basics and wisdom of hydroponics.

Myth 5: Hydroponics is too expensive.

This is not entirely true. As with any hobby, you want the new "toys" or you want to improve and expand your knowledge. And gardeners are always spending money on their pets, whether it is a bonsai, orchids, horticulture, etc. However, it is not always easy to achieve the desired result and to meet the size of the planned budget. So it is with hydroponics.

Myth 10: Hydroponics is mainly used for criminal purposes.

Using hydroponics for criminal purposes due to the fact that this is a very effective and successful method of hidden growing. This casts a shadow on the industry and the methods that can solve the problem of hunger and malnutrition. The percentage of hydroponic systems for illegal purposes is parallel to the percentage of use of Ford vehicles with bank robberies. I wonder why a lot of hydroponic systems used for conventional purposes didn't become the highlight of the evening news.

Yes, hydroponics is very popular among growers of cannabis. This popularity is based on the same principles as that of the conventional vegetable producers - the best, high quality yields.
