Its been a long time since last I post anything here.

This post is on a new attachment that I made for the siphon in operation at very high water level in fish tank. Originally what I am trying to achieve is silencing the siphon outlet, however upon doing so with high water level situation the siphon operation and aeration of tank is compromise.

What I made here is a simple attachment that if required can be added to the siphon outlet silencing the outlet and give aeration at same time.

@HS, in my trial it does not cause any significant changes to siphon operation. I did this because I have a very high water level and the distance from water level to growbed is only about 6 ~ 7 inches.

I need this design to aerate it at this situation, also if water level subside due to evaporation, the other part will silence the outlet.

Would this decrease suction which the siphon itself requires to break?
