Bees in the greenhouse?

Is anyone keeping a beehive in their greenhouse?

I have had honey bees in my greenhouse for a few years. I have to set them outside the greenhouse or they get too hot and struggle to keep their hive temperature down when the greenhouse warms up.  What I have done is drilled a hole in the side of my green house and direct the bees to enter and exit through that hole via a rubber hose. We leave our green house door open so they will forage through the greenhouse and come and go from the greenhouse through the door as they please.  Works out well. When the hive gets really busy come July, I will open up a way for them to get in and out of the hive outside and inside the greenhouse, providing two opening to the hive.  This keeps the honey bee traffic down in our greenhouse doorway. This has helped a lot with our pollination and they are fun to see buzzing around while we are at work.

Saw a video in a large commercial operation that used a hive of mason bees in the greenhouse. They did not say how many hives, but they did say they "use a hive of mason bees in the greenhouse".  They do need a water source, but as far as sugar water, you might initially, but what do the mason bees eat in the wild? Might have to initially, but would have to research to see after established.

Someone told me bees did not do well inside a green house because of confusion due to being closed in..Sounded weird to me.. Have you thought about mason bees? More work, less bees and no sting

how large of a colony will you have and will you be supplementing with sugarwater.
