Aquaponic Gardening

A Community and Forum For Aquaponic Gardeners

As a newcomer to aquaponics (I set up my first system 6 months ago) I am impressed by the innovation of its users.

At the same time I was contemplating going back to do research, so I decided that I can combine my interest in research with my interest in aquaponics. But rather than run my own research project, I want to tap into the expertise of all the people who run their own system. After all they are the experts, rather than me a newcomer.

So I have set up a citizen science project in aquaponics, so that any interested aquaponics user can research their own projects and view how other projects are going, The project is set up as a research project in Macquarie University (Sydney Australia). It was launched earlier this month, and so far we have some researchers from Canada, US and Australia.

Many of the forums suggest that you keep a diary or log of your system, especially water chemistry, especially for newcomers. This site means you can keep this diary electronically, get to see the graphs, and at the same time help research. The diary can also record fish, plants, water etc.

If you are interested to take part, have a look at www.ourresearch.net

I see the word Captcha and nothing else... no box, word to copy, nothing. I'm using google. Haven't had this issue with other Captcha applications.

OK. I am confused. Can you please clarify can you

1) not see the captcha at all at all (ie as per image below)

2) not see the box within the captcha image that I have outlined in red

3) not able to enter anything in the box that is outlined in red.

Also what browser are you using?. I can then try it out in that browser. Its working OK for me in Chrome and I, so I need to work out what the difference is. I would really like to be able to sort this out. If you are having this problem I am sure others are as well.

Tried again and still no Captcha box or letters to copy.

Hi Jeff,

Sorry you had problems getting in. You type it into the box that is in the Captcha image itself - where I have typed "TYPE HERE" in the image below. Its a bit tricky because when I tested out your problem I didn't see it immediately either!

I will update the site to make it easier. I appreciate this feedback.

Thanks Ria

Tried to register for the program but got to Captcha in the registration and there was no box to input anything. What next?

Sounds great. I'll take a look. I've never been one to record anything but I know the benefits of doing it. Now that I'm getting I have to record it or forget it LOL
