Thanks for the friend request, but if you need to contact me, it's always better to do so through our website, www.friendlyaquaponics.com. Mainly, it's because of how busy we are, but also because Sylvia has proven herself to be extremely adversarial to us, sadly enough. Wish there were not so much ego involved in this tiny community, but there certainly seems to be. This is HER site, and I do not wish to tread upon her territory. Odd, since she and Murray attended our training in Florida (for no fee whatsoever), but whatever.

Hi Kelsey,
I saw your post on the jobs board about O'ahu Aquaponics intern positions. I was there for work about year ago and had the chance to visit the amazing Olomana Gardens. As I understood it they accepted people to come live there and work on the farm in return for room and board. It's definitely worth the drive out there and if you can catch a tour they are very informative. hope that helps!

There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.
A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Main page. You might also find the “Aquaponic Gardening Rules of Thumb” guidelines helpful. And join the Commercial Aquaponics and Coastview Aquaponics groups to learn more about folks who are making a living doing this.
Please participate and check in with us every day! We are constantly posting news about aquaponics and the good food movement.
