Please tell us something else about yourself.
I studied under max meyers. We built a system in San Juan Del Sur, Nicarague for 80 families farming tilapia.I use his system under the business name AquaBiotic Systems Corp. My system uses around 1500 gal, I have 200 rainbow trout, and 200 crayfish and am in the process of designing a hatchery within the system. I am in the middle of a bigger project located in the felton area of santa cruz and we are building a system which will consist of 22,350 gal. I am using bamboo rafts which were harvested right here in the mountains of santa cruz. This is truly amazing considering untreated bamboo is hard to come by. We design our systems using applied permaculture techniques so that no external resources are used. I collect scrap fish from a local sustainable seafood business, i grow my own worms and my own high protein based plants. Truly a sustainable and organic system. Now it's time to change the organic certification to allow for hydroponically grown foods. Thanks for all your work!
