I've been gardening and growing veggies since my dad started me as a kid. We had little planter boxes and often started seedlings indoors.

Also as a kid we always had fishtanks all over the house raising everything from Sea Horses to accidentally becoming SwordTail breeders (guess that's what happens when you buy two pairs ;-)

I bought a basic grow light htis year and my seedlings have just taken off, so I started looking into how I could grow more than jsut seedlings indoors year round, and stumbled into the discovery of Aquaponics after seeing SweetWater Organics featured online.

Thanks for your reply.  It will definitely be at least a couple more weeks until I'm ready for fish, as I still need to build the system, start it cycling, and get it up to the right temperature (not sure how long that takes).  I'll be in touch when I'm ready for fish.
