Growing Bamboo?

Has anyone tried growing bamboo in their system?

We've recently moved and I've had to scale down my lighting which has limited what I can can grow.   My fish are producing more waste than what my plants can clean so I was thinking about trying bamboo since it likes lots of water and low light.

Any thoughts?
