- I have designed & built a prototype hybrid media/raft system that has 64 sq ft in media & 32 sq ft with rafts. I am using a 275 gallon IPC as a fish tank, that will be home to 100 tilapia once the system has cycled. This system will be developed into a 500 sq ft hybrid system powered by 4 IPC's on my return to Hawaii.
